Our story
A living room that grew
A quiet corner where women of every age can pray, seek God together, and find sisterhood, without needing to be seen.
The story behind the name
When Women Intercede began in a living room. A handful of women, tired, stretched thin, carrying families, work, grief, and longing, came together to pray. Not to perform. Not to impress. Just to pray.
Something shifted that evening. Not dramatically, not with signs and wonders, but quietly, the way God tends to move among ordinary people who are simply willing to come before Him.
The name was chosen not as a title, but as a declaration. When women intercede, things move.
This website is an extension of that living room, a quiet, safe place for women around the world to:
- Lay down their burdens on the prayer wall, named or unspoken
- Read Scripture slowly in a calm sanctuary
- Find a small circle of sisters for the everyday
- Come to a gathering and simply be present
- Hear a word that reminds them who God is
You are welcome to be as known, or as unnamed, as you need to be. The women who gather here are known by God, and that is enough.
“Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?”Jeremiah 23:29
What we stand on
Our values
Scripture first
The Bible is our foundation. Every prayer, gathering, and word is rooted in the living Word of God.
Safe & unhurried
You may come, share, and pray without fear of being seen or judged. Unspoken is always welcome.
Warmth over performance
This is not a stage. It is a living room, soft light, open Bibles, honest prayers. Come as you are.
Gentle accountability
We walk beside each other in grace, not judgement, speaking truth in love, quietly and consistently.
True community
Real sisterhood is three women on a call, praying together on a Wednesday evening.
An altar, not a brand
We are not building a platform. We are building an altar. All glory belongs to God alone.
You belong here
Whether you are certain in your faith or quietly searching, there is a place for you at this table.
